COUL Little of the Month – February 2023
Little Brother Christopher wants to be an engineer when he grows up. In the meantime, he enjoys reading, drawing, and building things with Legos. He also enjoys history and science, and — when it’s warm outside — he likes being outdoors and going to the park.

Little of the Month – January 2023
Before we end our celebration of National Mentoring Month, let’s take a look at our January 2023 COUL Little the Month.

BBBS of Berks Day at the Reading Royals
Little Brother Michael and Big Brother Todd were the center of attention on Saturday, as LB Michael dropped the first puck at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County Night at the Reading Royals!

COUL Little of the Month - December 2022
He’s the December 2022 Little of the Month, and he has an appreciation for busses and railroad crossing bells. Makes sense, because Little Brother Nathaniel says he wants to be a school bus driver when he grows up.

New One-To-One Match!
Congratulations, Little Brother Ariel and Big Brother Kevin! They are our newest One-To-One Match.

Annual Awards 2022
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County congratulates the winners of our Annual Awards! For the first time since 2019, BBBS of Berks held our Holiday Party — attended by about 100 of our Littles, Bigs, and families. And as part of the festivities, we presented plaques to our annual honorees.

Annual Holiday Party
t’s an exciting time here at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County! Tomorrow evening will be our first full-on in-person Holiday Party since 2019, and preparations have been going on for a while now — including a host of Santa’s Helpers to make sure our Littles and their families enjoy the holidays.

EITC check presented
Big Brothers Big Sisters had a visit this morning from Tompkins Branch Manager (and Board member) Susan Belfer and Assistant Branch Manager Edwin Alvarado today. Our friends from Tompkins were here to present the agency with a $2,500 check through PA’s Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

See More Than a Need...See the Future!
It’s what has come to be known as Giving Tuesday, but GIVING is an everyday occurrence for our Bigs as they inspire potential in our Littles. YOU can help our Bigs in giving of their time and talents each day by donating today — and joining them as Defenders of Potential. It’s more than a donation…it’s making a difference!
