BFKS 2011 approaches!!!

The 30th Annual (yes, 30 years of bowling fun to benefit the youth of Berks County) will take place on April 28th & 29th at Berks Lanes and May 19th at Heister Lanes...so MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

How can you help, as we prepare for our biggest fundraiser of the year?

  • CORPORATE SPONSORS are needed to make the event a success!  Our thanks to this year's Prime Sponsor...National Penn Bank.  Other Corporate Sponsor levels are:  $2500 (T-Shirt Sponsors) or the $1,000 & $500 levels.
  • LITTLES TEAM SPONSORS are for those companies who can't do the Corporate Sponsor levels but still want to help.  For $300 (full sponsor) or $150 (co-sponsor), you can help pay for a team of Little Brothers & Little Sisters.  They'll do the bowling for you!

Big Brothers Big Sisters is seeking to raise $73,000 through our BFKS 2012 event.  All funds raised stay right here in Berks County to help fund our four (4) mentoring programs.

Looking to bowl?  Check back often for additional information on forming a bowling team.

the top grossing single bowling team in 2011...and in the history of BFKS here in Berks County!

Our thanks to everyone who helped us for BFKS at Bowl-O-Rama, and all those who will be there for our inaugural event at Berks Lanes.  About 450 bowlers were on-hand for BFKS at Bowl-O-Rama!  Those bowlers made up nearly 90 teams helped raise over $37,000 toward our 2011 goal of $72,450.  Nearly $7,000 was raised at our newest addition...BFKS at Berks Lanes...when another 15 teams joined in the fun.

Besides those many bowlers and our prime sponsor (Giorgio Foods) a number of businesses joined the ranks to help raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters.  A regular partner to Big Brothers Big Sisters, Aon Risk Services were joined by our friends at National Penn Bank as this year's T-Shirt Sponsors.  Other Corporate Sponsors in 2011 included:  Big H Farms, Boscovs, Diamond Credit Union, East Penn Manufacturing/Deka, GMI First, Masono Bradley (Attorneys At Law), RM Palmer, and VF Outlet.

Businesses and individuals also helped by sponsoring a Littles Team...and many other companies & individuals banded together to help make BFKS 2009 a success!  Please see the list below (our appreciation also to those who contributed anonymously).
