BBBS of Berks was awarded a two-year,
$10,000 per year grant through the Comcast Foundation to help fund the SMART (Students & Mentors Achieving Results Together)
school-based mentoring program. With the assistance of the Comcast Foundation, BBBS of Berks
expanded its SMART program for the 2012-2013 academic year to include two additional school districts. The SMART program
now serves youth in Conrad Weiser, Hamburg, Wilson, and Muhlenberg School Districts. Charisse
R. Lillie (Vice President, Community Investment - Comcast Corporation and President of the Comcast Foundation) said, "This
grant from the Comcast Foundation is in recognition of Comcast's commitment to the communities where its customers and employees
live and work. Since its founding in 1999, the Comcast Foundation has distributed more than $90 million in cash support of
